Abstract:
The novel Schiff base N-phenyl(methylphenyl-5-pyrazolyl)methylidene]aniline was synthesised in three stages. Ethylacetoacetate and phenylhydrazine were allowed to react together to form 3-methyl-1-phenyl-5-pyrazolone.
